1. Who we are and what this is
This website is published by Hogshead Single Barrels LLC ("Tusk'ave", "we", "us"). By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
We are a single-barrel tequila programme. We do not own a distillery. Our tequila is produced for us in Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico, by our partner distillery registered under NOM 1634, and certified by the Consejo Regulador del Tequila. Where the site describes distillation, fermentation or other production methods in general terms, it is explaining how tequila is made — not asserting that we personally perform each step. See our Disclaimers.
2. You must be 21 or older
This site is intended only for people of legal purchase age in the country they are viewing it from, and in no case anyone under 21. You confirm your date of birth before entering. Do not use this site, and do not forward its content, to anyone below the legal purchase age.
Nothing here encourages excessive or irresponsible drinking. Please enjoy tequila responsibly.
3. How buying works
Tusk'ave is not the seller. Where you can buy on this site, the sale is made by a licensed alcohol retailer, who is the seller of record, takes your payment and fulfils your order. We do not sell or ship alcohol ourselves.
You must be of legal purchase age to buy, and an adult of legal purchase age must present valid photo identification to receive the order.
What is available depends on where you are. Alcohol sale and delivery are restricted by state and by country, and some products cannot lawfully be supplied to every address. If we cannot serve yours, checkout will tell you.
Your purchase is subject to the retailer's own terms, including its rules on payment, delivery, cancellation and returns. Questions about an order go to the retailer. Questions about a cask are always welcome here.
4. Casks are goods, not investments
Nothing on this site is an offer of a security, an investment contract, or a financial product, and nothing here is investment, tax or financial advice. A cask is sold as a consumer good — tequila in a barrel — to be enjoyed. We make no representation, promise or projection that any cask, bottle or collection will hold its value, appreciate, be resaleable, or produce any financial return.
We do not operate a resale market, a valuation service, or a buy-back scheme, and we do not manage any cask on your behalf with a view to profit. If you are considering a purchase for any reason other than enjoyment, take independent professional advice first.
5. The bottle customizer and anything you upload
The customizer lets you preview a personalised back label. The image you choose is read and drawn entirely inside your own browser: it is not uploaded to us and never leaves your device.
By using it, you confirm that:
- you own the image, or have permission to use it, and using it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- it does not contain anything unlawful, hateful, obscene, defamatory, or anything that appeals to people below the legal purchase age;
- a preview is a visual mock-up only. It is not a proof, not an approved label, and not a commitment by us to print anything.
If you later send us artwork to actually produce, you grant us the licence we need to use it for that purpose, and you agree to cover us against any claim that the artwork infringes someone else's rights. Custom front labels are a separate regulated process requiring brand registration with IMPI and linkage to our NOM through the CRT, on its own timeline.
6. Cask listings, availability and prices
The inventory is a live cellar log drawn from our own records. We work to keep it accurate, but stock moves, casks are allocated, and figures such as age, strength and bottle count are measured at a point in time and may change. Listings may contain errors and may be updated or withdrawn without notice.
Age statements, ABV, bottle counts, oak type and toast level describe the cask as recorded at bottling. Tasting notes are one person's subjective impression, not a specification. Bottle and barrel imagery is illustrative.
Where a price is not shown it is given on request, and any quotation is valid only as stated in it. Where a price is shown at checkout, the retailer's price at the moment you order is the one that applies. Prices exclude taxes, duties and delivery unless expressly said otherwise.
7. Using the site properly
You agree not to:
- use the site if you are below the legal purchase age;
- scrape, harvest or systematically copy the inventory, imagery or written content, or use any of it to train a machine-learning model, without our written permission;
- submit false information through the contact form, or use it to send unsolicited commercial messages;
- attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security, or bypass the age gate.
8. Our content
The Tusk'ave name, logo, the cask dossier, photography, illustrations and written content on this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read, share links to, and print pages for your own non-commercial use. Anything beyond that needs our permission.
"Tequila" is a protected denomination of origin. NOM 1634 identifies our partner distillery. Other names and marks mentioned belong to their respective owners.
9. Links to other sites
We link to retailers, regulators and reference material we consider useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their handling of your data.
10. Disclaimers and limits on our liability
The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties not expressly given here, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from reliance on information published here. Our full disclaimers, including those on alcohol and health, are set out on the Disclaimers page and form part of these terms.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Texas will have jurisdiction, except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
13. Contact
