The etch reads Hogshead, not Tusk’ave, and it is meant to. These glasses were cut for Hogshead Travesía — our first collection, and the first casks we ever bottled. They carry that collection’s name exactly as its bottles do.
Tusk’ave is the house. Hogshead Travesía is what we named the first release, and the name stays with it. So this is the collection’s glass, not a mark left over from something else.
Why this shape
- The wide bowl gathers Room for the agave and the oak to open, and then lift together.
- The tapered mouth concentrates It narrows toward the top, so the aroma arrives focused, not scattered.
- The fine rim delivers A thin edge lays the spirit on the palate cleanly, and the solid base keeps it steady.
